A VPS is a machine in a datacentre that stays on when yours does not. Your terminal runs there instead of at home, so a power cut, a Windows update or your router rebooting no longer closes your positions. If you trade manually during your own waking hours and never leave an order open, you may not need one. If you run an EA, you do.
It takes your own internet out of the path. From Dhaka to a London broker is perhaps 120 ms; from our London node it is under one. The EA sits beside the broker rather than a continent away, which is what matters for scalping, news and anything with a tight stop.
Every plan on our pricing page states this outright, because RAM alone does not tell you. As a guide: 2 GB holds one terminal, 6 GB holds four or five with EAs attached, and 12 GB handles copy trading across accounts. Upgrade at any time without downtime.
The one your broker's server sits in, not the one nearest you. Most European brokers are in London or Frankfurt, most US brokers in New York or Ashburn, and most Asian brokers in Singapore or Tokyo.
