Four tiers and this page is about picking between them

Web hosting, without the guesswork

Four tiers on the same machines in the same fifteen cities. The difference is how much of the machine is yours — and this page is about working out which one you actually need.

Where most start

Shared

One site, or a few small ones

—

  • Start here unless you know you need more
  • One to three sites, 1–5 GB NVMe
  • Right for a blog, a landing page, a portfolio
  • Moving up later costs the difference, nothing else
  • See shared hosting →
See the plans →

Business

A site people actually use

—

  • More I/O, which is what busy sites run out of
  • Right for a shop, or a site with real traffic
  • Same panel, same platform, bigger slice
  • The tier most people move up to, not down from
  • See business hosting →
See the plans →

Reseller

Selling hosting under your own name

—

  • WHM, so you create the accounts
  • Your own packages, limits and prices
  • Each client gets their own cPanel
  • You bill them; we bill you
  • See reseller hosting →

Most providers charge more for some regions and quietly steer you to the cheap one. These are one price everywhere, so the only question is where your readers are — which is the question that should decide it.

Which one

Four questions, and the answer is usually the cheap one

Hosting companies have an obvious interest in talking you upwards. Here is the honest version.

How much traffic, really?

A few hundred visitors a day is nothing — shared hosting handles it without noticing. The number that matters is concurrent, not daily, and most sites never reach a point where it matters at all.

Does it take money?

A shop cannot cache its basket or its checkout, so every one of those hits the database. That is an I/O question rather than a disk one, and it is the clearest reason to be on business hosting.

Is somebody else paying you?

If you look after sites for clients, reseller gives each of them their own cPanel and you your own WHM. Below that, you are managing several accounts by hand.

Do you need root?

If you need a specific PHP build, a daemon, or software that is not in cPanel, no shared tier will do — that is a machine of your own. Almost nobody needs this and it is worth being sure.

What is underneath

Three things, the same on every tier

The tiers differ in how much of the machine you get. They do not differ in what the machine is.

LiteSpeed Enterprise

The web server, licensed rather than the open build — which matters because it reads .htaccess as written. More on that →

NVMe, not SATA SSD

Several hosts write "SSD" and mean the older kind, which is roughly six times slower on the small random reads a database makes. Ours is NVMe on every account.

CloudLinux

Each account gets a fixed slice of processor and memory. What changes between tiers is the size of the slice, not the isolation.

What comes with it

Twelve things, on the $2.49 plan as well

Nothing on this list is a tier above or an add-on at checkout.

cPanel The panel everybody knows
Free SSL Issued and renewed, no action needed
LiteSpeed Cache Supported in the server, not just a plugin
Softaculous WordPress and 400 others, one click
JetBackup Daily, kept 30 days, restore yourself
Imunify360 Scans and blocks without configuration
Email On your own domain, with filters
Node, Laravel, Python Pick your runtime in the panel
SSH and WP-CLI For anybody who prefers a terminal
Cron jobs Real ones, set from the panel
Staging subdomain Break things where nobody is looking
Free migration Send a cPanel backup and we restore it

Getting started

Three steps, whichever tier you pick

1

Pick the smallest that fits

You can move up at any point for the difference in price, and nothing is rebuilt. Starting too big is the more expensive mistake.

2

Point a domain at it

Bought here and there is nothing to do. From elsewhere, change the nameservers.

3

Install what you run

WordPress, or anything else in Softaculous, in about a minute from cPanel.

Questions

Before you pick a tier

Which tier should I actually start on?

The cheapest one that fits. Moving up costs the difference and takes no downtime; starting too big means paying for headroom you never touch. Almost every site here starts on shared and most stay there.

What is the difference between the tiers, in one line?

How much of the machine is yours. Same panel, same web server, same storage — shared gives you a slice, business a bigger slice, reseller a slice you can subdivide, and a dedicated server the whole thing.

Can I move up without downtime?

Yes. The account stays where it is and the limits change. Nothing is rebuilt and nothing is copied.

Do you charge more for some cities?

No. Fifteen cities, one price, and you can ask us to move an account between them.

Is this the same as a Forex VPS?

No. Hosting runs websites; a VPS runs your terminal. If you are here for MT4 or MT5, the VPS plans are what you want.

Will you move my site for me?

Send a cPanel backup, or tell us where it is, and we restore it and check it works before you change any DNS. More on moving →

Start small, move up if you ever need to

Four tiers, fifteen cities, one panel. The cheapest one is usually the right answer.
