Find the name, see both prices
Type a name and the popular extensions are checked straight away. Every one shows what it costs to register and what it costs to keep.
Letters, numbers and hyphens. The six most asked-for extensions are checked live; the rest show their price.
Names to try
Prices are the first year. Free names rise to the top as they are checked.
Every extension we sell
All 23, with the renewal printed
Sorted with the ones that renew at the same price first. Nothing is hidden below a fold or behind a link.
Prices are per year in USD. Seven of these renew at exactly what you paid. The rest cost more to keep than to start, which is how those registries price them rather than a markup of ours — we would rather you saw it here than on next year's invoice.

Included with every name
What comes with it, without an upsell
Three things other registrars often charge for, and one setting that is off unless you ask for it.
Our own nameservers
Your domain points at our DNS, not a registrar's, so a name and a VPS are managed from the same place. Change the records yourself whenever you like.
No redemption fee
Let one lapse and most registrars charge $80 or more to bring it back. We have those fees switched off — you pay the renewal, not a penalty.
Renewal is your choice
Auto-renewal is off unless you turn it on. Nothing renews itself and takes money you were not expecting.
Questions
Before you register one
Why does .site cost $3.47 now and $46.08 later?
Because the registry that runs .site prices it that way, and every reseller pays the same wholesale figure. A cheap first year is how new extensions get taken up. If you want a price that does not move, take .com, .net, .org, .uk, .co.uk, .ca or .de — those seven renew at exactly what you paid.
Do you check availability on this page?
Yes, for the six most asked-for extensions, live against the registry as you type. The rest show their price, and the check runs when you pick one. We do not guess: a page that says "available" and a checkout that says otherwise is worse than honest silence.
Will it renew automatically?
Not unless you switch it on. Auto-renewal is off by default here, which is the opposite of the usual arrangement. You will get reminders before a domain expires, and you decide.
What if I let one expire?
There is a grace period and then a redemption window, both set by the registry. We do not add a fee of our own to either — you pay the renewal price. After redemption closes the name returns to the open market and anyone can take it.
Can I transfer a domain I already own?
Yes, and it usually costs less than a fresh registration while adding a year to whatever time is left. You will need the auth code from your current registrar and the domain unlocked.
Can I point it at my VPS here?
Yes, and it is the simplest case — an A record to the IP we gave you. Both live in the same account, so there is one place to log in and one invoice.
