Ollama VPS

Run a model where nobody is metering it.

Ollama installs in one command and pulls its own weights. The question is not whether it runs — it is how fast, and that depends entirely on whether a card is doing the work. Both answers are on this page.

See the plans Which distribution?

From $6.37/mo on a yearly cycle · 2 GB holds a small model

Six sizes, and the model decides which.

Ollama itself is small. What fills the machine is the weights you keep loaded — a 3B model wants two gigabytes, a 7B wants eight.

Every plan here undercuts its Windows counterpart — because there is no Microsoft licence inside it. That is the whole difference: same hardware, same cities, same support.

12 distributions. Here is when each one is right.

Any of them, on any plan, reinstallable from your panel in about five minutes.

Install something

Order to root

Ninety seconds, and none of it waiting on us.

Nothing is approved by hand and nothing is queued. The only slow part is you deciding which city.

01 Order

Pick a size

Two gigabytes runs a 3B model, eight runs a 7B. Size on the model you intend to keep loaded, not on Ollama itself.

0:00
02 Key

Paste your public key

We never set a root password unless you ask. The key is safer and takes the same ten seconds.

0:01
03 Build

The machine builds itself

Ninety seconds on a KVM guest with its own kernel. Nothing to approve, nobody to wait for.

0:02
04 Pull

ollama pull, then run

One command installs it, one pulls a model. Bind the API to localhost and tunnel in, or put nginx and a token in front of it.

0:03

Nothing is preinstalled. A clean distribution and root is easier to trust, and easier to rebuild, than an image we have already changed.

In your panel, not in a ticket queue

Six tools you will use every week.

Buttons you press yourself, included on every plan — this one too. There are more than twenty in the panel; these are the ones that change the day.

One command, then it is yours

The install script sets up the service and the model store. No API key, no account, no per-token meter running in the background.

01

The weights stay on your disk

A pulled model sits in /usr/share/ollama and never leaves. For anything touching customer text that is usually the entire argument.

02

An API on port 11434

The same OpenAI-shaped endpoint your code already speaks. Point an app at it and nothing else changes.

03

Models you choose

Llama, Mistral, Qwen, Gemma, Phi. Pull one, delete it, pull another — the library is theirs and the disk is yours.

04

It stays loaded

Keep a model resident between requests rather than paying a cold start every time, which is what makes a small CPU model usable at all.

05

Move up when you need to

The same install runs on a GPU machine. When CPU speed stops being enough, the setup comes with you.

06

Twenty more sit alongside them — reboots, graphs, hostname changes, Windows Update control, time zone sync. The cheapest machine has the same panel as the most expensive. See how each one works →

Before you spend anything.

The questions our support desk actually receives, answered plainly.

Slower than you are used to. A 3B model at 4-bit answers at a readable pace on a few cores; a 7B is closer to a few tokens a second, which reads as deliberate rather than instant. For a chat window that is irritating. For a job that summarises two hundred documents overnight, nobody is watching.
Two gigabytes of RAM for a 3B model, four to eight for a 7B, and roughly the model file size again as headroom. Ollama loads the weights into memory, so the RAM figure is the ceiling on what will run at all.
CPU if the work is batched, scheduled or occasional — summarising, tagging, extraction. A GPU if a person is waiting for the answer. Our GPU Server runs the same Ollama with a 4090 behind it, and 13B models answer at conversational speed.
No. The model runs on your machine and the weights sit on your disk. Nothing leaves the box unless your own code sends it somewhere.
Yes. Ollama exposes an OpenAI-compatible endpoint on port 11434, so most client libraries need a base URL change and nothing else.
No. You get a clean distribution with full root, and the official script is one line. An unmodified system is easier to trust than one we have already changed.
Yes, and most people do. Bind Ollama to localhost, put your application in front, and expose only what you meant to.

Still unsure which plan or which city? Send us your broker's account server name and we will measure it before you buy.

Clear pricing and low latency. Migration was seamless — they moved the whole thing over a weekend and the renewal price has not moved since.

The Amsterdam route feels snappy and support solved my request quickly. Four stars only because I would like a German node closer to my broker.

Tokyo and Singapore peers are perfect for my brokers. Great value for what it is — I have run the same box for two years without touching it.
