The prefix is the clue, not the number. Every HFMarketsGlobal group we have measured sits in a different city from the others, and none of them are close to the SA one. If your server is not in this table, send us the name from your terminal's login window and we will measure it before you order.

That makes HFM unusual among the brokers on this site. At Exness or FBS the group number is the only clue; here the letters before the dash tell you more than the number after it does. Read the prefix first.
A demo group tells you nothing about your live one

The account type changes the lots tenfold
This matters more at HFM than at most brokers. Premium earns ten times per lot what Zero Spread does, because the rebate comes out of the spread markup on one and the commission on the other.

Which entity holds your account
HF Markets in Cyprus under CySEC, HF Markets UK under the FCA, and separate arms under the FSCA and DFSA. Your country decides which, and the server prefix often follows it.
It changes your leverage cap and what compensation scheme covers you, which is worth more of your attention than a millisecond either way. Check on their site before you deposit.
