IC Markets

ASIC, CySEC, FSA, SCB · MT4, MT5, cTrader, TradingView

About this broker

IC Markets was founded in Sydney in 2007 and operates through several entities: IC Markets (Australia) under ASIC, IC Markets (EU) under CySEC, and IC Markets Global in the Seychelles under the FSA. Which one holds your account decides your leverage cap and what compensation scheme, if any, covers it.

The account types differ in how they charge rather than in what they give you. Raw Spread carries a commission per lot with spreads that start near zero; Standard has no commission and wider spreads. Both reach the same liquidity.

They support MT4, MT5 and cTrader, which is a wider spread of platforms than most brokers offer.
