FBS has operated since 2009 and runs through several entities — Tradestone Ltd in Cyprus under CySEC and FBS Markets Inc under the FSC among them. Which one holds your account depends on your country, and it changes your leverage cap and what compensation scheme covers you.
The server side is where FBS differs from most brokers: the group name carries no geography at all. Three of the four groups we have measured answer from London and one from New York, and nothing but the number tells you which.
